AEROFINA was established in 1980, as a state owned company, dedicated to design, development and manufacture of on board equipments for Romanian military aircrafts.
Nowadays, AEROFINA is 100% private company and its activity is splitted into two main areas:
– Military area – design, manufacture, repair, modernisation and test of:
– Solid State Flight Data Recorders
– Launcher LM 52 AS and adequate ground test equipment
– Electronic time fuses for 81, 82 and 120 mm illuminating bombs
– Ejection seats type SCHV-0
– Pirotechnical devices for SCHV-0 and KM-1M ejection seats
– Industrial area – design, manufacture and tests of:
– Level crossing automatic barriers and signalling equipments
– Locomotive windows
– Railway passenger car equipments
– Railway car brake test systems
AEROFINA quality system is certified according to SR-EN ISO 9001:2008 requirements, by various third party accreditation entities, being holder of the following certificates: AEROQ certificate no. 009; AFER certificate no. AF 5965; Minister of Defence certificate no. 3; NCAGE certificate no.081
