INCDMTM was established to develop the scientific research and technological development activity in the field of mechatronics, integronics and adaptronics, smart measurement techniques, and it mainly contributes to drafting and supporting the development strategy of the field and the priority performance of the scientific and technological objectives established by the National Plan on Scientific Research, Technological Development and Innovation, the Sectorial Research&Development Plans, the Business Environment Programs and Projects and the Core Program and, respectively, the European and International Research Programs.
INCDMTM is a leading institution of Romanian science, the only institute of its kind in Romania and unique high-tech leader of the Precision Mechanics, Mechatronics, Robotics and Intelligent Measurement fields, which integrates into its future medium and long term strategy, new trends of the area addressed in Europe and worldwide.
