On 15 th of November 2018: the Romanian Business Exchange organizes in Bucharest – ROMANIA, in partnership with the Center for Applied Strategies, the 3rd edition of the International Business Diplomacy Conference / Diplomacy360

This 3rd edition of the Conference, unique in the region, will gather together more than 200 participants from over 30 countries, representatives of the foreign Embassies in Romania, Public Institutions, business environment and also international leaders from different fields, that embrace the fact that dialogue and cooperation between informed international leaders acting on a good faith, it is on the mutual benefit and could contribute to the development of a better world where the countries will have a sustainable growth based on their competences and resources exploited on a collaborative way.

The 20 international speakers will enlighten during the Conference, the links between Diplomacy and other domains & global topics that can be better addressed by all countries’ cooperation, and we just name few of the topics: Business (Business Diplomacy), Climate changes (Climate Diplomacy), City development (City Diplomacy), Culture (Cultural Diplomacy), Sport (Sport Diplomacy), IT & Cyber security (Cyber Diplomacy), Online (Digital Diplomacy), Public Diplomacy, Media & Journalism Diplomacy.

The main purpose of this edition of the Conference is to continue the professional open dialog and collaboration between different international leaders that understand the complexity and the importance of the links between all the above topics presented also on the scheme developed under the Diplomacy360 Program.

Dialogue is one form of Diplomacy, but the Old School Diplomacy can provide the leaders from different sectors with tools and methods that they need to succeed in the 21st Century.

Business executives for instance, need to find new methods and techniques to succeed, to avoid conflicts and make strategic alliances to promote and protect their interests, address the issues they confront with and develop their businesses under new paradigms. Those paradigms are heavily influenced by global external factors like geo-political changes, economical, technological and social ones.

In order to operate sustainably, organizations need to develop internal competences that enable them to create, cultivate and manage high-level relationships with international groups, governmental, non-governmental and private influential factors that are relevant to them. This requires a way of being, namely seeing, analyzing, planning and acting sometimes under hostile conditions. Diplomacy can offer plenty of such resources to help international executives to anticipate and address the risks, find new opportunities and become more competitive in a global world characterized by many experts in the field, by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.

Diplomacy360 / International Business Diplomacy Conference addresses mainly to business representatives (multinational business managers, entrepreneurs and business people, corporate decision-makers), diplomats, officials and other professional groups interested in multiple synergies between diplomacy and various industry sectors like: culture, media & journalism, business, sport, cyber security, digital, climate and city diplomacy.
