China will be presented in grand style at MSV Fair – Brno, Czech Republic 3-7 Oct 2016

As the official representative of BVV Trade Fairs in Romania, Bursa Romana de Afaceri has the pleasure to inform the business community that “The participation of China as MSV Partner Country 2016 has been approved by the Chinese government after numerous diplomatic negotiations in January of this year. The Chinese party announced the participation in Brno as part of the strategy of the PRC for Central and Eastern Europe, the so-called “16+1 Agenda” – China and 16 countries of Central and South-eastern Europe with a goal of closer economic cooperation, placement of investments and building up of new infrastructure by Chinese companies.

A memorandum of PRC participation at MSV was signed on governmental level between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and CCPIT (China Council for Promotion of International Trade) during the visit of the Chinese president Si Tin-Pching in Prague this March. The Czech Republic is currently China’s second largest business partner in Central and Eastern Europe. The final Agreement on Chinese participation in MSV was signed in Beijing between Brno Trade Fairs and CCPIT at the beginning of August.

China will be presented in an official “China Pavilion” in Hall A1 through a participation of provinces and cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hilongjian, Dalian, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Hebei, Tianjin and Shandon, will introduce important Chinese holdings and technology companies, such as China Railway, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China Machinery Engineering Corporation, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors of SAIC Motor Corporation, Shanghai Electric, Inesa, Shanghai Rainbow Fish Ocean Technology, Zhejiang CF Moto and Wanxiang Group. Participating small and medium enterprises from Zhejiang Province will be housed in Hall H.

The total exhibition space occupied by China will be 2.700 – 3.000 m2 with more than 150 exhibitors and other entities who participate in the preparation. A 30-member organization team and 100 persons from official delegations will come to Brno. China Chamber for International Commerce (CCIC) has been put in charge of organizing the whole project. The chairman of CCPIT Jiang Zengwei will be the official confirmed representative of China. It will be the largest partner country participation in the history of MSV. Beside the opening ceremony at the China Pavilion on Monday 3 October, there will be a Czech-Chinese Industrial Forum, B2B meetings with Czech partners and a festive Chinese Evening on Tuesday 4 October.

Chinese companies have been participating in such extent mostly in the industrial trade fair in Hannover. They participate in a trade fairs in Central Europe for the first time in this extent. The presentation of China as MSV partner country proves the development of political and economic relations between the two countries in recent years.”

The International Engineering Fair will take place on 3 – 7 October together with specialized trade fairs of machining (IMT), welding (WELDING), foundry (FOND-EX), plastics (PLASTEX) and finishing (PROFINTECH). Organizers expect a participation of 1600 exhibitors – it is bound to be the largest MSV in the last 5 years.
