IT’S TIME TO CONNECT WITH ROMANIA’S SMART CITY INNOVATIONS !
SMART TRANSFORMATION FORUM 2016 is the first national forum dedicated to Smart systems, solutions which improve the quality of life by using technology to reduce costs and resources consumption in the medium and long term through optimization of public services and it will take part on September 29th 2016, Bucharest.
Ministers, local authorities, regional economic development agencies, city managers, associations, system operators and integrators, energy companies, industrial organisations and technological parties come together to share knowledge on how to achieve a Smart transformation.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss upon the concept of integrated cities – “Smart cities”, that combines specific multiple solutions (energy, transport, IT&C etc.) based on an optimized management system and urban identities, as the way to follow in the context of general European directives. In order to have an easier and more informed manner of implementing the Smart systems, Romania could guide itself by the model of other European countries. The competent collaboration and transparency of those involved – administration and public institutions, players in the energy chain, manufacturers, distributors, solution providers and end users, can bring major benefits in terms of sustainable development for the Smart cities by increasing local competitiveness in a globalized world.
The forum is equally addressed to Smart technologies and equipment suppliers, energy companies, community services providers for public utilities, waste management, transportation, traffice management, health services providers.
